Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

This was a tough choice because I am lucky to have quite a few friends from growing up. But today asked for the friend I've been CLOSEST to the LONGEST. And I have a bunch of friends that I've had longer than Jess, who mean the WORLD to me, but since the day Jess and I called a truce, she's never been away from my side. She always takes the time to come visit me either in MD or NC, send me cheerful messages when I'm going through a rough time and she always fits right into my family functions! The best part about how close we are today is that we literally could NOT stand each other in the beginning. We didn't even know each other, but competition can bring out the worst/best in someone. And we were both competing for Editor in Chief of Yearbook. We had a wise teacher who saw more than we did, and gave it to BOTH of us. We were forced to work together and join forces literally against the rest of the class. In the end, the 2006 Yearbook turned out phenomenal and we had a friendship for life!
