I had to take my son with me to get my teeth cleaned today, it was quite an interesting experience. They have a free arcade so that seems to entertain him for the most part. The problem today became his comfortable-ness around the office ladies. He went up and down the hall from one to one, just back and forth. Then he'd yell, "Mommm, where are you?" and of course it would be during the scraping of my teeth part, I couldn't answer. Then he'd find me and be jealous because I was being allowed to watch Miss Spider Sunny Patch.
When my neighbor came to get him, I was half way done and he did NOT want to leave, so they said he could stay and he sure did.
I have been wearing Invisalign for 7 trays now, so 14 weeks and i only have 3 more to go. Tray number 7 has been giving me problems and not wanting to move my ridiculous front top tooth. So I had to get a little filing done :/ It didn't hurt, it just made my gum bleed, and bleed. After an almost accident, he went potty for the lady at the office and then I was just about done. WHEW!
I felt so embarrassed that my son was running around in the office, but the doctor truly didn't mind. They are so nice there and so understanding. In case your wondering, this is Dr. Wilson, the wife, at Family Dental Care on Country Club Rd in Jacksonville, NC. They are a really great office!
